keeping pace

RUNNING AROUND:

i’m not quite back into the swing of things after the extended holiday weekend.  i spent a couple of days indulging in beers and picnic food, and then we actually played hockey on sunday.  i took the scale out of the shower that morning and it read 184, after playing it said 180.5.  that’s not real weight loss, but it sure is one hell of a lot of energy spent.  even if a glass of lemonade and an apple will put some of the weight back on.

my knee was tight monday, and i was still burning anyway so i skipped working out.  yesterday i was just too lazy (knee still tight though).  today i’ll be back on pace sliding in with some abs stuff and a quick lifting routine before i head into the tavern tonight for my first shift at the helm in days.

CARDS:

i watched part one of the latest citizenwind vid series.  it was $50NL at Tilt, and it struck me in one manner.  it was a sweat vid, and the folks seemed to make raising cBets (in pos) on primo cBet boards a standard.  and they took it as norm that when they were the ones who opened and got called, they wouldn’t cBet Qxx because “people just play back at you here too much”.  i get it.

i have a couple of hands i’ll post on the forums.  the only thing that is on my note paper here that escapes me is “why would CW think that 3betting QJ in the sb to a steal is semi-standard?”.  it’s not pressing at my brain, but it did make the notepad.  i’ll be curious to dig into that when i get some time, for now it seems like a play i can completely skip without reservation and not suffer in the least.

SILLINESS:

i’m tempted to unload and get the new tony robbins stuff.  did i mention that like 87 times yet?  like i need another thing to do.  but, in there might be the source to successfully handling all the things i do?  if i didn’t watch infomercials in bed, he’d have a much better chance at closing the sale.

ok – off to face the day :)
