and then the rains came
which means the power was blinking on and off all morning and the chances for a hockey game are drastically reduced. so much so that if the family trip this afternoon wasn’t to buy fabric for a quilt the daughter will be working on, i’d have gone with them.
however today unfolds, it’s unlikely to include any wrist shots. ugh
however it happened, on friday night the topic of girls came up. one of my friends remarked that some of the moms at his kids sporting events were good lookers.  um. ok.Â
so, last night . . . the crowd rolls in at the tavern and i’m going in 8 directions at once until i get caught up, at which time i take a moment to survey the crowd. and in the crowd there were at least a dozen young ladies between 21 and 25, all putting their best face forward and all dressed in different styles aimed at attracting the attention of the young gentlemen in the room. and i thought . . . “this beats the living piss out of oogling soccer moms”.
Cards – HM can’t access the database at the moment, so i can’t even do hand reviews from last night’s uneventful session. ack. hopefully it’s thunderstorm related, and has nothing to do with the boy child adding new programs to my machine.

Well, yeah, but if you’re not able to always get out to somewhere the young ladies are dressing up and looking to get picked up, the good looking soccer moms are better than nothing
. As a coach, I’m usually looking across the field, court, etc. at them, and from that distance, they’re even better looking
